Chess
Jerry Ji
Jerry is a rising senior at Livingston High School who has a passion for chess. He is knowledgeable about the game and is also self-taught. Most of all, he loves to talk about chess and wishes to pass on his knowledge to younger players.

Timothy Xie
Timothy Xie is a rising sophomore at Millburn High School. He is a National Chess Master. He ranked in the top 10 nationally for his age group during elementary school and was qualified twice for the national USA chess team for the World Cadet. He began teaching children chess in middle school. Currently, he is a member of the NJ Junior Chess Team (invitational).

Public Speaking
Jason Wei
Jason is an academically apt high schooler. This year, he took on teaching to not just know things, but also to apply them by serving others. In his spare time, Jason likes to fiddle with computers, race, and fix various machines.
Robotics
Aarush Gupta
Aarush is a rising junior at Livingston High School with two years of experience in robotics. He serves as a coder on the Emerald Knights Robotics Team at Livingston High School. Outside of school, he enjoys playing tennis, following Formula 1, and playing video games. He is passionate about teaching and is eager to help younger students learn, grow, and develop new skills.

Victoria Qin
Victoria is a rising junior at Livingston High School who enjoys working with children. She is excited to help them learn creativity and self expression through arts and crafts. In addition to helping younger children explore art, Victoria also enjoys drawing and painting in her free time and is excited to share this passion with her students this summer.
Robotics
Gautam Bava
Gautam enjoys to play video games and robotics. His favorite video games are Spider-Man 2 and Pokémon Legends Z-A. He also enjoys playing and biking around town with his friends and getting food with them. He likes to teach because he believes that it is important to prepare the younger generations for the problems of the future and make sure that they will be able to get jobs. Gautam does robotics competitively and likes to code and regularly attempts to create games.
Math Prep
Allison Pan
Allison is a rising junior at Livingston High School who has a passion for math. She has extensive experience tutoring elementary students and is excited to continue making math enjoyable for others. She has taken AP Precalculus and will be taking AP Calculus BC this upcoming year. Additionally, she is passionate about finance, and placed 1st and top 10 at FBLA states for financial literacy and personal finance respectively, where she applied mathematical concepts to real-world financial analysis. She looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for math and meeting new people along the way!
Music Production and Sound Engineering
Jonathan Vizcarra
Jonathan Vizcarra is a rising Junior at Livingston High School. The summer of 2025 will be Jonathan's first year teaching in the Teaching4Charity program, although he has a lot of past additional experience in the field of teaching and instruction. Jonathan recognized his passion for music at a young age and has played the violin since he was around 8 years old and has been exploring the field of music production for the past year. Jonathan is very excited to be able to share his passion of music and to help raise the next generation of producers.
Robotics
Wayne Li
Wayne is a rising junior at Livingston High School. He has 3 years of robotics experience and participates in the high school Emerald Knights robotics team. He took the John Hopkins CTY Algebra 2 H course over the summer and is currently taking AP Precalculus. Additionally, he has received awards in art, film, and photography, including two Scholastic Gold Keys, two Silver Keys, multiple Honorable Mentions, and other awards outside of Scholastic.
Essay Writing
Jon Chin
Jon is a Junior at Livingston High School. He is a member of their history bowl and quiz bowl team, with Livingston Quizbowl currently ranked first in the nation. He enjoys teaching and has taught elementary level students through the YMCA Aftercare program. Jon has a passion for history and has taken several honors and AP history courses. He has also tutored his peers in history during past school years. He is excited to share his knowledge of the world and inspire students!
Arts and Crafts
Grace Wang
Grace, a rising senior at Livingston High School, has been in Teaching4Charity since its founding in 2021. Since then, Grace has served as one of T4C's teachers, designing and teaching art courses. As the new executive director, Grace is looking forward to expanding the T4C tutoring branches across the states. Additionally, Grace is now managing T4C’s staff of 20+ team members, overseeing general operations, and directing new projects.

Megan Rose Rabe
Megan will be a junior for the 2024-2025 school year at LHS and it is her first year as a teacher for Teaching4Charity. She’s a former Member Representative for NJ’s Key Club at LHS, and can’t wait to teach arts and crafts this year.
Volleyball
Anna Shuvalova
Anna is a rising senior at LHS and will be teaching for T4C in her first year, despite prior experience teaching for other programs. She is the Head of Build for LHS's Science Olympiad team, is on the town's TV committee, and plays volleyball in her free time. Anna is very excited to begin her journey with T4C and looks forward to meeting and guiding the next generation.
Public Speaking
Claire Gao
Claire Gao has been a dedicated public speaking teacher at Teaching4Charity for four years, where she notably served as the Director of Development. She has spent 6-7 years refining her own skills as a Varsity Forensics Speech and Debate member, achieving recognition as a Semifinalist at the Harvard Debate Council International Tournament and an Octofinalist at the Tournament of Champions. Beyond her work here, Claire actively teaches communication skills as the Head Debate Teacher at Livingston Huaxia Chinese School (LHXCS).

Olivia Huang
Since 2017, Olivia has been taking public speaking and debate courses. Speech has made a huge impact on her life, teaching her how to critically think, speak confidently, and express her ideas. As a rising junior at Livingston High School, Olivia has competed and won awards on both the local and national circuit, such as earning a 2nd place award at National Online Forensics Walnut Tournament, semi-finaling Harvard’s National Forensic Tournament, and octo-finaling Lakeland’s Westchester Classic. She has also taken Humorous and Dramatic Interpretation courses, Original Oratory and Communication Courses, Public Forum debate courses, and acting courses. This summer, Olivia is excited to share her passion for speech in helping you enhance skills of confidence, clarity, and persuasiveness.

Stephanie Yan
Stephanie Yan is a rising senior at Livingston High School. She has competed extensively in Public Forum debate, semifinaling and octafinaling in national circuit tournaments, qualifying for the silver Tournament of Champions, one of the most prestigious tournaments in the country. She has debated all of high school and is the captain of Public Forum for her high school. She is excited to share her knowledge and work with you over the summer!
