Public Speaking
Olivia Huang
Olivia Huang is a rising senior at Livingston High School and has been a Public Speaking Instructor at Teaching4Charity for the past three years. She currently serves as T4C’s Executive Director and is the captain of her school’s Speech Team. An accomplished speaker, Olivia has earned numerous varsity-level awards on both the local and national speech circuits, including a semifinalist finish at NJSDL and a 2nd Place finish at National Online Forensics. Through years of competition and leadership, she has developed strong skills in public speaking, critical thinking, argumentation, and effective communication. Beyond speech, Olivia is passionate about serving and mentoring young students. She directs LSCC’s K–5 Children’s Choir, serves as President of the LHS Orchestra, and is a Section Leader in the LHS Chorus. These leadership experiences have strengthened her ability to teach, inspire, and connect with students of all ages. Speech has had a profound impact on Olivia’s life, helping her grow into a confident communicator and leader. This summer, she looks forward to helping students build confidence, strengthen their speaking skills, and discover the power of their own voice.

Claire Gao
Claire Gao has been a dedicated public speaking teacher at Teaching4Charity for four years, where she notably served as the Director of Development. She has spent 6-7 years refining her own skills as a Varsity Forensics Speech and Debate member, achieving recognition as a Semifinalist at the Harvard Debate Council International Tournament and an Octofinalist at the Tournament of Champions. Beyond her work here, Claire actively teaches communication skills as the Head Debate Teacher at Livingston Huaxia Chinese School (LHXCS).
Chess
Quan Tran
Quan Tran is a rising senior at Livingston High School. He has been teaching chess in private settings and voluntarily for 3+ years. He has also been playing chess since 7th grade, and is an active competitor. He enjoys teaching chess because he loves sharing knowledge about the game to others. Outside from chess, Quan enjoys reading, writing, and sports. He is currently a member of the LHS Boys Varsity Soccer.

Jerry Ji
Jerry is a rising senior at Livingston High School who has a passion for chess. He is knowledgeable about the game and is also self-taught. Most of all, he loves to talk about chess and wishes to pass on his knowledge to younger players.

Timothy Xie
Timothy Xie is a rising junior at Millburn High School. He is a National Chess Master. He ranked in the top 10 nationally for his age group during elementary school and was qualified twice for the national USA chess team for the World Cadet. He began teaching children chess in middle school. Currently, he is a member of the NJ Junior Chess Team (invitational).

Victoria Qin
Victoria is a rising junior at Livingston High School who enjoys working with children. She is excited to help them learn creativity and self expression through arts and crafts. In addition to helping younger children explore art, Victoria also enjoys drawing and painting in her free time and is excited to share this passion with her students this summer.

Megan Rose Rabe
Megan is a rising senior at Livingston High School. She is also a former Member Representative for NJ’s Key Club at LHS, and can’t wait to teach arts and crafts this year.

Vignatha Daggala
Vignatha Daggala is a rising senior at Livingston High School. She has been teaching art to children outside of school for about 4 years, and is excited to further expand the scope of her lessons with T4C. At LHS, Vignatha serves as the Co-President of the League of Women Voters, Secretary of the American Medical Women's Association, and will serve as a HOSA Executive Board Member is the coming school year. Overall, she is looking forward to working with the students this summer!

Jon Chin
Jon is a rising junior at Livingston High School. He is a member of their history bowl and quiz bowl team, with Livingston Quizbowl currently ranked first in the nation. He enjoys teaching and has taught elementary level students through the YMCA Aftercare program. Jon has a passion for history and has taken several honors and AP history courses. He has also tutored his peers in history during past school years. He is excited to share his knowledge of the world and inspire students!

Anna Shuvalova
Anna is a rising senior at LHS and will be teaching for T4C in her first year, despite prior experience teaching for other programs. She is the Head of Build for LHS's Science Olympiad team, is on the town's TV committee, and plays volleyball in her free time. Anna is very excited to begin her journey with T4C and looks forward to meeting and guiding the next generation.

Caden Mak
Caden Mak is a rising senior at LHS. He has taught for Vacation Bible School at Newton Church, and taught various core subjects at other volunteering platforms. He is excited to teach at T4C in the summer, and hopes to make the most of it!

Wayne Li
Wayne is a rising junior at Livingston High School. He has 3 years of robotics experience and participates in the high school Emerald Knights robotics team. He took the John Hopkins CTY Algebra 2 H course over the summer and is currently taking AP Precalculus. Additionally, he has received awards in art, film, and photography, including two Scholastic Gold Keys, two Silver Keys, multiple Honorable Mentions, and other awards outside of Scholastic.

Allison Pan
Allison is a rising senior at Livingston High School who has a passion for math. She has extensive experience tutoring elementary students and is excited to continue making math enjoyable for others. She has taken AP Precalculus and will be taking AP Calculus BC this upcoming year. Additionally, she is passionate about finance, and placed 1st and top 10 at FBLA states for financial literacy and personal finance respectively, where she applied mathematical concepts to real-world financial analysis. She looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for math and meeting new people along the way!

Stephanie Yang
Stephanie Yang is a rising senior at Livingston high school with a passion for working with young students. She has volunteered with Livingston Chinese school and LSCC for over three years primarily teaching students ages 3 to 7, while helping to create learning objectives and lesson plans. Stephanie creates an excited environment for students to learn and build confidence. She’s excited to expand her teaching experience through T4C and share her true love for math! Having completed Geometry, Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus at Livingston High School, as well as working as a tutor she has developed strong skills, specifically in Algebra. She is always down to solve a tricky math problem and will engage the class to learn better!

Jophy Dong
Jophy Dong is a rising senior at Livingston High School. He has been tutoring students in English and Math for around 3 years. In addition to that, he also teaches children how to bake. He hopes to serve as a good role model in the summer!

Jason Dong is a rising senior at LHS, a future chemistry/ochem major with experience tutoring in other subjects such as math and computer science. He plays games in free time and has prior teaching experience at other groups. Has a passion for STEM and has taken all high level chem courses available at Livingston High School.

Sean Lee
Sean Lee is a rising senior at Livingston High School. He has been playing volleyball for 5 years, competing in club volleyball and serving as a libero on the LHS varsity team, which won the Sectional State Championship. Outside of school, Sean has experience coaching volleyball one-on-one, helping younger players develop their skills. He is excited to bring his experience and love for the sport to T4C and looks forward to inspiring students to grow and have fun on the court this summer!

Ryan Chen
Ryan is a rising senior at Livingston High School and has been playing volleyball for fun for around six years. He enjoys spending his summers competing in GAV grass volleyball tournaments. Ryan loves volleyball and is excited to share it with others and help them learn.

Jaden Nzekwu
Jaden is a rising senior at Livingston High School who has a passion for psychology. He is knowledgeable about the sciences, especially biology, as he has taken those classes. Most of all, he loves kids and getting the chance to display his knowledge of the hopes that they’ll absorb the information and grow. Jaden is currently part of a student-founded nonprofit called Info For Neuroscience that focuses on neuroscience research and teaching others about the topic.

Aarush Gupta
Aarush is a rising junior at Livingston High School with two years of experience in robotics. He serves as a coder on the Emerald Knights Robotics Team at Livingston High School. Outside of school, he enjoys playing tennis, following Formula 1, and playing video games. He is passionate about teaching and is eager to help younger students learn, grow, and develop new skills.

Gautam Bava
Gautam enjoys to play video games and robotics. His favorite video games are Spider-Man 2 and Pokémon Legends Z-A. He also enjoys playing and biking around town with his friends and getting food with them. He likes to teach because he believes that it is important to prepare the younger generations for the problems of the future and make sure that they will be able to get jobs. Gautam does robotics competitively and likes to code and regularly attempts to create games.
