Two New Career Seminars!
We are very excited to bring you two new career seminars this month! These seminars are great chances to learn from experienced professionals, ask them any burning questions, and explore new fields of interest!
Our two seminars will both take place at Living Stone Christian Church from 5-7PM and are open to all! If you would like, you may also join through Zoom (Meeting ID: 468 361 0882; Passcode: T4C). Our two seminars are as follows:

Business (Saturday, 1/20, 5-7 PM)
- Henry Jia, a CPA, earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Finance from Northeastern University and his MBA in Accounting from Baruch College, and Master in Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Over 25 years, Mr. Jia has provided tax services to hedge funds, private equity funds and venture capital firms.
- Dr. Min Zhang is a seasoned Data Science Manager at Verizon, bringing over 13 years of diversified experience in operations research and data science. She holds a PhD in Operations Research from University at Buffalo. In her current role, Dr. Zhang specializes in developing analytical models, encompassing statistics, simulation, predictive models, optimization, and more. Her expertise lies in applying these methodologies to address a myriad of business problems and meet the dynamic needs of the industry
- Kun Liu (Senior Vice President/Capital Planning @ Citi) - Mr. Liu has worked in the strategy and data analytics field for nearly 13 years. He currently works at Citi, where he has been since 2014, and he specializes in the development of complex financial models to manage risk and liability.

Medicine (Saturday, 1/27, 5-7 PM)
- Henry Chen (Third-year Medical Student at New Jersey Medical School) - Mr. Chen attended The College of New Jersey in the accelerated BS/MD degree program. He is currently a medical student doing clinical rotations at various hospitals in the NJ region, notably Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, University Hospital, and Newark Beth Israel. He hopes to eventually specialize in pediatrics.
- Jeremy Law (Primary Care Physician @ US Department of Veterans Affairs) - Dr. Law attended Northwestern University, where he earned both his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering and his MD (from Northwestern’s Feinberg School of Medicine). He completed his residency training in Family Medicine at UC Davis Health System, where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Law has worked as a physician for over 13 years, as both a hospitalist and a primary care physician (PCP). He currently is a PCP with one of the regional Clinical Resource Hubs for the US Department of Veteran Affairs.
- Jennifer Chen(Patient Safety Scientist @Novartis Pharmaceuticals) Jen is a Doctor of Pharmacy who graduated from Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University. As a liscensed pharmacist in NJ, she works in the Patient Safety & Pharmacovigilance department, ensuring that Novartis products released to the public are safe and effective. Her department is responsible for identifying, reporting and following up on adverse effects of drugs.

T4C Computer Science Career Seminar (July 21st, 2022): Students and children from the local community had the opportunity to listen to a panel of successful computer science professionals talk about the personal experiences and journeys they underwent over the course of their careers.

Livingston Young Families Club - Young Dreamers Forum (June 23rd, 2022): Executive Director Jonathan Hong and Co-Director of Marketing Alex Wu delivered a presentation on their experiences with leadership, entrepreneurship, and community service in order to inspire other students and young children in the community.
